Cadet content licence (institutional)

Annual institutional licence to the full NCC.training cadet content library — A / B / C certificate syllabus, lesson videos, practice tests, the classroom shell, and the certificate generator. Bilingual delivery across 23 Indian languages. Cadets self-register (or, for cadets under 18, their parent registers and adds them — the DPDPA-compliant path) and link to your school’s cohort by entering a per-school invite code. The institution gets the visibility — per-cadet progress, certificate generation, optional co-branding — without ever owning the consent chain for a third party’s child.

Independence statement. The cadet content licence covers access to the NCC.training online learning library only. It does not certify cadets under the National Cadet Corps; A / B / C certificates issued by the institution’s NCC sub-unit are awarded by the NCC after the official certificate examination. NCC.training is not affiliated with the NCC, DGNCC, MoD, or any government body.

Onboarding model — DPDPA-compliant by design. Cadets register themselves; for cadets under 18, a parent registers and adds the cadet as a linked child through the existing parent flow. The school does not create cadet accounts and does not assert consent on a third party’s behalf. The institution gets visibility into the cadets who voluntarily link to its cohort via the invite code — nothing more, nothing less.

What's in the licence

Full A / B / C cadet content library

All NCC.training cadet courses — Certificate A (Junior Division / Wing), Certificate B and Certificate C across Army, Naval, and Air Wings. Lesson videos, structured notes, rich field-manual PDFs, lesson-check quizzes, and end-of-course practice assessments.

Bilingual delivery, 23 languages

Approved translations across the 22 scheduled languages plus English — Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu. Cadets switch language in the classroom.

Cadet self-registration via your invite code

The institution is issued a short invite code per cohort. Cadets register themselves at /register.html and enter the code — they land in your cohort with their own consent record. For cadets under 18, the parent registers first and adds the cadet as a child (DPDPA §9 compliant), then enters the code. Same cohort, same dashboard, same per-cadet progress — without you owning a third party’s consent.

No school-side bulk upload

Schools sometimes ask for a CSV bulk-upload of their cadet roster. We don’t offer it — for A and B certificate cohorts, every cadet is a minor, and DPDPA §9 requires parental consent that the school cannot validly assert on behalf of someone else’s child. Invite-code self-registration is the structurally compliant path, not a workaround.

Co-branded option

Optional add-on. The institution's logo appears on completion certificates and inside the classroom shell alongside the NCC.training mark. Per-cohort branding configuration in the school dashboard.

Alumni access

When a cadet leaves the school — graduation, transfer, year-end — the institution marks the cohort end-date in the dashboard. The cadet keeps their account and progress history; the seat is freed from the school's licence count. The cadet can continue learning on their own or convert to a personal subscription.

School admin dashboard

A read-only view scoped to your school's cadets — nothing about other institutions, nothing about individual cadet privacy beyond what the school already holds.

  • Roster & seats — active cadet count, alumni count, available seats against the institution’s licence (a soft cap on how many cadets can self-register into the cohort).
  • Per-cadet progress — lessons completed, lesson-checks passed, time-in-classroom, certificate-readiness indicator. Drill down per cadet who has joined your cohort.
  • Cohort progress rollup — class- and wing-level averages, weakest topics across the cohort, language-mix usage.
  • Invite code management — view your cohort’s invite code, regenerate if it leaks, see who joined and when. The code is the single mechanism for joining your cohort.
  • Alumni transition — mark individual cadets as alumni when they leave the school, or end the whole cohort at year-end (the cadet’s account survives independently).
  • Certificate generator — lookup, download, and (with co-branded option) re-issue completion certificates under the institution’s branding.

Scope — what we do, what we do not do

What NCC.training does

  • Hosts the cadet content, runs the classroom, generates certificates, supports bilingual delivery in 23 languages.
  • Issues a per-cohort invite code so cadets can self-link to your school after registering with their own consent.
  • Maintains the cohort dashboard for the school admin: roster, per-cadet progress, alumni transition, invite-code rotation.
  • Applies the institution’s logo to completion certificates and the classroom shell under the co-branded option.

What the institution does

  • Shares the invite code with its cadets (notice board, classroom, parent communication). Cadets opt in by registering themselves.
  • For cadets under 18, asks the parent to register first and add the cadet as a linked child (the DPDPA §9 compliant pattern). The school does not create cadet accounts and does not assert parental consent on behalf of someone else’s child.
  • Decides which cadets are alumni at year-end and marks them in the cohort dashboard.
  • Awards the official NCC A / B / C certificate through its NCC sub-unit; the library prepares cadets for the exam but does not award the official certificate.

Pricing & how to engage

Indicative per-cadet pricing with volume discounts and an annual institutional floor. Final pricing depends on cadet count, co-branding option, and licence term.

Sign in for indicative pricing

Schools typically engage on the cadet content licence alongside Stage 4 (unit operations) or Stage 5 (audit defence). The licence stands on its own too — an existing NCC-allotted school can subscribe purely for the cadet learning library without buying any other consultancy service.

Talk to us about a licence

Tell us your cadet count, certificate split (A / B / C), language requirements, and whether you want the co-branded option. We respond within two business days with an indicative quote and a demo of the school admin dashboard.
